To sign up for tutoring, hover over the "FOR STUDENTS" tab in the website menu, and click "GET TUTORING". Then, fill out the form on that page to sign up. You can also visit www.tutorsforchange.org/get-tutoring to sign up.

We offer tutoring for a variety of subjects including Math, the Sciences, English, History, and SAT/ACT Math. To see our subject offerings, please visit www.tutorsforchange.org/subject-offerings.

When you sign up to get tutoring for a suject, we will reach out to one of our tutors whom we think would be a good fit. If they are able and willing to tutor you, they will coreach out to you within a few days (depending upon tutor availability) to schedule a tutoring session. For scheduling and payment details, please view the "Scheduling" and "Payments" section of the FAQ.

Our tutors range from high school and college students to current and retired teachers. Anyone in high school and above is welcome to join us as a tutor. All our tutors are volunteers, and they only tutor the subjects and student grade-ranges they feel comfortable tutoring.

Yes! To ensure the safety of all members of Tutors For Change, we ensure that all our tutors are background checked when they join us.

Every month, we will send you an invoice via email to pay for tutoring. You can visit our "PAY FOR TUTORING" page under the "FOR STUDENTS" tab on our site menu to pay for tutoring or visit www.tutorsforchange.org/pay-for-tutoring. The amount listed on the invoice is both a suggested and optional amount - you are welcome to pay as much or as little as you like :)

The suggested payment for tutoring is $0.99 per hour, but any additional amount you choose to give is voluntary and much appreciated. Alternatively, if you are unable to or do not wish to pay for tutoring, please post about and share Tutors For Change on social media!

All payments go towards our nonprofit's expenses like website fees, background checks for our volunteers and tutors, tax filing fees, advertising costs, and improvements to our services.
